RN - Labor and Delivery - Nights

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide comprehensive patient care, including assessments, planning, and coordination of treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients and gathering health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Developing and coordinating individualized care plans to ensure safe and effective interventions.
• Communicating clearly with patients, families, and staff in person, via phone, and in writing.
• Providing tailored education to patients and families based on assessments.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practices.
• Maintaining current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current nursing license in the state.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• At least one year of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
