About the role
This position is for a Registered Nurse in a high-paced Labor/Delivery unit, providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Coordinates care delivery, promotes health education, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams.
- Evaluates patient outcomes and follows ANA standards of professional performance, including enhancing practice quality, ethical practice, and professional development.
- Employs technology for documentation and communication, seeking continuous improvement in patient care.
Qualifications
- Requires completion of an approved nursing program, RN licensure, and BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
- Preferred candidates have 5+ years of RN experience and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Physical demands include heavy exertion and exposure to infectious materials.
