About the role
Join a dedicated labor & delivery team as a Registered Nurse, providing patient-centered care in a high-performing 18-bed unit. You will support routine and high-risk cases and have cross-training opportunities across labor, postpartum, recovery, and surgical areas.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver care to women and newborns
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care and adjust as needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Adhere to organizational standards and protocols
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license (state or compact)
- BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
