About the role

The Unit offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the best interventional stroke and trauma programs in Western PA. Our state-of-the-art facility boasts a one hundred-million-dollar investment in our four interventional labs, five CTs, four MRIs, fluoroscopy, general x-ray, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts pre-procedural assessment.
  • Participates in the care of patients undergoing Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology procedures.
  • Provides proper documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Maintains a safe environment for patients during their Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology procedures.
  • Maintains a sterile environment by ensuring aseptic technique is followed by the surgical team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1st preference to employee on current night schedule on unit.
  • Minimum one year recent Critical Care or Radiology RN experience.
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
  • CPR – American Heart Association.
  • Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).

Qualifications

Skills

Meticulous attention to detail and sterile technique, similar to an OR setting.

Pay

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Steady Nights 7pm to 7am.
