About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized care. The RN collaborates with physicians and other inter‑professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, practicing within the full scope of nursing expertise and age‑specific standards. Care is provided across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up, with responsibilities that include planning and coordination of care, patient assessment, education, triage, and other nursing interventions. The RN adheres to the Nurse Practice Act, state administrative rules, and the ANA Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver individualized patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and inter‑professional team members to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency within the full scope of nursing knowledge and practice.
• Provide care across preventative, diagnostic, treatment, and follow‑up phases.
• Plan and coordinate patient care, including assessment, education, and triage.
• Perform various nursing interventions as required by patient needs.
• Operate within the standards set by the Nurse Practice Act and state licensing regulations.
• Uphold the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice (or multistate licensure in an NLC state).
• Ability to obtain and maintain department‑specific competencies and certifications.

Pay

Salary range: $35.00 – $48.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for a sign‑on bonus.

Schedule

• Shift: 12‑hour night shifts
