RN - Infusion Supervisor - Cancer Center - Full Time Exempt - 10hr QVH

About the Role

The Infusion Nurse Supervisor plays a vital leadership role within our outpatient infusion clinic, overseeing daily clinical operations and ensuring the safe, efficient, and compassionate delivery of infusion therapies. This position combines hands-on clinical care with team supervision, quality assurance, and patient coordination in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Works in coordination with the service line director, RN Manager, staff, and clinical care team to support and direct the delivery of care for infusion patients.
• Provides comprehensive clinical supervision and functions as a liaison between the patient/family and the clinical care team.
• Contributes to and participates in "survey readiness" as well as the evaluation and development of service line protocols, standards of care, policies, and procedures guided by evidence-based research literature reviews and clinical practice guidelines.
• Collaborates with the leadership team in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Two (2) years of chemotherapy administration experience working as an outpatient infusion RN in a clinic, physician office, or hospital setting.
• Oncology Ambulatory Infusion Center experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and excellent customer service and service recovery skills.
• Previous nurse supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy provider card required.
• OCN certification preferred.
• Ongoing education of 12 cancer-related continuing nursing education hours annually.

Pay
