RN Infusion Nurse PRN

About the role

Responsible for the clinical nursing care of the home infusion patients and management of nursing staff supporting PruittHealth Infusion pharmacy. Primary location: Georgia-NORCROSS, with additional sites in Georgia-Douglasville and Georgia-Cartersville. Work location: PruittHealth Pharmacy Services.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to evaluate appropriateness for home infusion services.
• Teach and train patients/caregivers to participate in home infusion treatments in their homes.
• Provide nursing interventions to home infusion patients within accepted standards of practice based on national INS standards.
• Assume full responsibility for professional management of assigned patients to nursing staff.
• Maintain clinical records to meet federal, state and agency regulations and standards.
• Develop the Plan of Treatment and assist to maintain the interdisciplinary care plan
