Job Summary

You will collaborate with the department leader in infection prevention activities, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Your responsibilities include identifying and implementing updates to the Infection Prevention Program, assessing and developing programs, and overseeing the clinical work of staff.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department leader in infection prevention activities
• Avoid healthcare acquired infections and adverse outcomes
• Assess and recommend actions to ensure safe patient care
• Perform surveillance and round in assigned units
• Oversee and monitor clinical work of staff
• Coordinate and oversee training
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of infection prevention guidelines and requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in epidemiology or Associate degree in healthcare-related field with 3 years of experience
• Certification in Infection Prevention and Control by CBIC
• Registered Nurse in Minnesota
