Role Purpose
Responsible for creating and maintaining surveillance programs to reduce healthcare-acquired infections (HAIs), ensuring compliance with infection prevention and control standards, and collaborating with the Infection Control Committee.
Responsibilities
- Conduct ongoing surveillance for HAIs
- Affirm compliance in all aspects of infection surveillance, prevention, and control
- Support programs enhancing employee, patient, and visitor protection from infectious diseases
- Collaborate with the Infection Control Committee
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
Preferred Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Current Certified Infection Control (CIC) certification preferred
