Role Purpose

Responsible for creating and maintaining surveillance programs to reduce healthcare-acquired infections (HAIs), ensuring compliance with infection prevention and control standards, and collaborating with the Infection Control Committee.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing surveillance for HAIs
• Affirm compliance in all aspects of infection surveillance, prevention, and control
• Support programs enhancing employee, patient, and visitor protection from infectious diseases
• Collaborate with the Infection Control Committee

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• No supervisory experience required
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license

Preferred Requirements

• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
• 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Current Certified Infection Control (CIC) certification preferred
