Job Summary
You will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that impacts patients' well-being and recovery. You will assess, perform skilled procedures, implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
Assesses and identifies patient abuse and neglect, reporting findings and implementing department policies.
Documents and coordinates advance directive education and placement on patient charts.
Acts as a client advocate, improving health care and ensuring informed decision-making.
Accurately formulates and prioritizes nursing diagnoses and patient problem lists.
Correctly identifies patients and performs aseptic techniques for blood specimen withdrawal and labeling.
Requirements
Three (3) years current medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting or specialty area.
Registered Nurse (RN) certification in California.
Basic Life Support (BLS) - CPR certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
