About the Role

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care for ICU patients following established standards and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff at various levels.
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare disciplines.
• Utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in care delivery.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQIBLS) certification from an approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI BLS) certification: Required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred
