RN - ICU / Nights

About the role

Critical Care Registered Nurses at Mercy Hospital - W Memorial Rd ICU are accountable for the provision of nursing care of assigned patients in all phases of care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients in all phases of care in the ICU.
• Assess patient conditions and needs.
• Plan individualized nursing care.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Implement nursing interventions.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Licensure: Current Oklahoma RN License.
• Certifications: BLS & ACLS certified (must be current before independent patient care).
• NIHSS certification: obtain within the first three months if new to the unit.
• Complete Hospital and Unit Specific nursing competency within 3 months of employment and annually.
• Not currently accepting new graduate applications.

Pay

Sign-on bonus available: up to $15,000 for experienced nurses.

Schedule

Nights, Full Time, 36 hours per week.
