About the Role
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the critical care setting. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Performs general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Nebraska Registered Nurse Licensure
- BSN or current enrollment in BSN program preferred
- Two or more years of recent critical care experience preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- NIHSS Certification within 6 months of hire
- PALS certification within six months of hire
