RN House Operations Administrator - Per Diem

Role Overview: The RN House Operations Administrator (HOA) is the senior clinical and operational leader on duty during assigned shifts, ensuring hospital-wide oversight of patient flow, staffing, safety, and emergency response. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Supervision: Provide direction, coaching, and supervision to clinical staff, making real-time decisions to maintain safe, high-quality care. Partner with leadership for performance management and escalate critical issues as needed.Patient Flow & Throughput: Support efficient patient placement, transfers, and discharges, collaborating with relevant departments to optimize capacity and reduce delays.Clinical Oversight: Conduct rounds, monitor acuity, and serve as the primary authority in absence of senior leadership, guiding staff on complex care issues.Staffing & Resources: Adjust staffing levels based on census and acuity, allocate resources, and monitor staff assignments for appropriateness.Emergency & Safety: Lead responses to critical events, conduct safety rounds, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master’s in Nursing or Health Administration preferred.Minimum of three years of nursing experience, including two in leadership roles.Experience in critical care/high-acuity settings preferred.Strong leadership, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.Registered Nurse license, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
