RN-Hospital at Home $15/K BONUS

Amedisys acute care registered nurse role in partnership with Mt Sinai and Contessa, offering flexibility, purpose, and growth to help patients heal at home.

Pay

Attractive pay range of $58-$60 per hour, with a $15,000 bonus. Shift differentials apply after 7 p.m. and on weekends.

Schedule

10 a.m. to 8 p.m. shift with occasional weekends. Uber transportation provided at company expense while in the operating area.

Responsibilities

• Initiate patient care, including nursing assessment, medication reconciliation, safety assessments, and implementing standardized protocols.
• Administer prescribed medications (typically intravenously), obtain blood samples, insert foley catheters, and provide therapeutic interventions.
• Educate patients on managing their illness, prescribed medications, nursing interventions, and care plans.
• Identify and act on changes in patient’s condition.
• Evaluate and revise care plans/assessments based on changes in patients and/or their environments.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and care coordination details.
• Participate in regular in-service or special case orientations as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate of Science in nursing.
• Current RN license specific to the state(s) of assignment.
• One year of adult acute inpatient medical or medical/surgical care experience within the last five years.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation and company-required liability insurance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in nursing.
• Experience providing RN services in the home, community, or clinic.
• Adult medical critical care experience.
