As a Staff Nurse Homecare, you’ll be an integral part of a team dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients who need it most. You’ll assess health needs, develop personalized care plans, and empower patients and families with the knowledge they need to live healthier lives.

Responsibilities

• Complete a two-week clinical orientation to learn key procedures, EMR systems, safety protocols, and compassionate care techniques.
• Assess patients with complex health needs and develop personalized care plans to ensure the best outcomes.
• Educate and guide patients and families through their healthcare journey, helping them understand their conditions and the path to better health.
• Collaborate with a team of VNA clinicians and external providers to ensure seamless care and optimal results for every patient.
• Document and track changes in patient conditions, updating care plans to reflect their progress and needs.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• 1+ year of clinical experience as a registered nurse (homecare experience is a plus).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for guiding and educating patients and families.
• Proficiency with technology, including EMR systems and digital tools to enhance patient care.
• A reliable car and valid driver’s license for traveling to patient homes.

Pay

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the compensation range for this position is USD $42.00 to USD $50.00 per hour. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions.
