RN Homecare 1.1 IDD
Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for a patient in the Shavertown, PA area. This position offers the opportunity to deliver personalized, high-quality care in a home setting while building a meaningful relationship with your patient and their family.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with the patient's plan of care
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments and monitor health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform skilled nursing procedures as needed
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient responses to treatment
- Educate patients and family members on health management and care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure patient safety and infection control standards are followed
- Identify and report changes in patient condition promptly
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently in a home care environment
- Previous home healthcare or private duty nursing experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to meet all Maxim Healthcare onboarding requirements
