About the Role

Provides direct patient care across all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates with ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient comfort and care within the scope of nursing practice, adhering to established guidelines, ethical standards, and institutional values.

Responsibilities

• Manages patients in a fast-paced progressive care unit specializing in cardiac, respiratory, and septic conditions.
• Monitors patients requiring intermediate care, including those with respiratory distress and high-flow oxygen needs, serving as a step-down from ICU with a focus on patient assessment and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Must hold and maintain current RN licensure and Basic Life Support certification.
• Experience in cardiac or critical care is preferred.
