RN - General Surgery, Full-Time Days

Role Overview Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care with other departments, upholds patient rights, and maintains confidentiality, aligning with organizational mission, values, and standards. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care on a General Surgery Medical-Surgical inpatient unit. Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care. Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality. Support organizational standards and mission through professional practice. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Current RN license in Missouri or valid compact license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Preferred: hospital experience, BSN, additional licensure or certifications, specialty experience. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks.
