RN - General Surgery

About the role

Provides professional nursing care to patients, supporting physicians with treatment and completing clinical documentation. Upholds a philosophy of compassionate care, respecting human dignity and applying Christian values in all duties. Communicates effectively with patients, families, visitors, and staff with a friendly, professional approach. Performs related duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in patient care and treatment procedures.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Provide patient education and self-care guidance.
• Ensure safety and proper operation of medical equipment.
• Adhere to safety, compliance, and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current valid state nursing license.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, clinical procedures, medications, patient education, and safety practices.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Ability to assist with medical treatments, react calmly in emergencies, interpret policies, and communicate effectively.
• Basic computer skills or ability to learn them.
• Ability to operate clinic-related equipment.
