About the role

The Registered Nurse – CVRU position at Saint Luke's East Hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures, as well as managing acute and critical diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures, as well as managing acute and critical diagnoses.
• Functions with a high degree of clinical judgement, accountability, and critical thinking while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
• Delegates tasks appropriately.
• Identifies hospital resources.
• Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
• Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.

Requirements

• Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse - Various
• Associate Degree
