About the role

Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's care needs with members of the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Communicate patient condition and care needs effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
• Note and execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
• Absorb and coordinate patient care needs with healthcare team members.
• Monitor and document patient progress towards care goals.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Education:
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR
  • Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in healthcare software and systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
