RN - Float Pool - Transitional Care Unit Support - Part Time
What You'll Help With
Transform Healthcare by supporting the Transitional Care Unit through the Float Pool. As a registered nurse, you'll consistently deliver exceptional care and customer service, demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. Collaborate with the healthcare team and patients/families to develop and revise age-specific interdisciplinary plans of care. Administer treatments and medications accurately and document using automated systems. Identify and address patient/family educational needs. Contribute to performance improvement activities and act as a patient advocate.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or eligible for Virginia RN licensure.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one.
- Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP certification required. Additional certifications may be required based on specific work units.
- Computer Skills: Required for electronic medical record (EPIC) use.
