Responsibilities

• Perform patient rounding to maximize patient satisfaction and quality standards.
• Conduct assessments and reassessments, develop individualized plans of care, and document care.
• Administer medications and provide patient and family education.
• Maintain equipment properly and ensure its safe use.
• Communicate patient needs effectively to physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
• Promote customer service initiatives and demonstrate knowledge of human growth, development, and appropriate treatment ranges.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver individualized patient care.
• Perform technical nursing skills and procedures as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing (or other acceptable Board of Nursing).
• Current BLS certification.
• Commitment to pursue and complete Med‑Surg certification within 1 year of hire.
