RN - First Assist (RNFA)

Role Overview

This PRN perioperative position involves providing first assistant support during surgeries, working closely with surgeons and the surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Aid surgeons during procedures, ensuring patient safety and effective care.
• Perform preoperative assessments and communicate patient outcomes.
• Maintain vigilance over patient responses, adjust care plans, and administer medications.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to improve efficiency and safety.
• Participate in professional development, adhere to ethical standards, and foster team growth.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license with 2-5 years of experience.
• Required certifications include CNOR and Certified First Assistant.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Show strong teamwork, assessment, and communication skills.
