This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
- Shift: 19:00 - 07:00, rotating weekends
- No on-call required
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room
- Perform procedures such as splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, and airway support
- Utilize equipment such as Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers
- Engage in patient de-escalation and support for behavioral health issues
- Maintain communication with interdisciplinary teams to provide effective care
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS
- Preferred experience with Meditech, trauma care, and behavioral health
