RN - ENT Clinic
Work Schedule
90% FTE, day shift between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. No weekends or holidays. You will primarily work onsite at University Hospital in Madison, WI with training and cross coverage as operationally necessary to Eastpark Medical Center and 1 S Park St in Madison.
About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support patient care and education in both a clinical setting and via triage calls or MyChart messages. Work with a team of nurses and medical assistants in a fast-paced ambulatory setting caring for adult patients within the ENT specialty. Practice in a clinic that provides specialty care in rhinology, laryngology (trachs), otology, facial plastics, neurotology and head/neck cancer, as well as comprehensive ENT care (ear tubes, adenoids and tonsils). Coordinate care and provide support for physicians, physician assistants, audiologists and speech and language pathologists.
Responsibilities
- Support patient care and education in both a clinical setting and via triage calls or MyChart messages
- Work with a team of nurses and medical assistants in a fast-paced ambulatory setting caring for adult patients within the ENT specialty
- Assist with a variety of in-clinic procedures including transnasalesphagoscopy, transnasaltracheoscopy, intertympanic membrane injections, temporal artery biopsies, vocal cord injections/biopsies, fine needle aspirations and Botox injections
- Coordinate care and provide support for physicians, physician assistants, audiologists and speech and language pathologists
Qualifications
- Graduate of school of nursing - Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred
- 6 months of RN experience - Required
- Relevant RN experience - Preferred
- Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact - Upon Hire Required
- CPR/BLS Certification - Upon Hire Required
- Applicable clinical certification - Preferred
