RN - Endoscopy

About the role

The Registered Professional Nurse at Cabell Huntington Hospital's Endoscopy unit is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervising other patient care staff, coordinating the care for a group of patients, and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated.

Responsibilities

• Excellent care of the patient pre-, intra and post-procedure during endoscopy and/or pulmonary procedures.
• Provides circulating and/or scrub services in the Endoscopy room during Gastrointestinal and Pulmonary procedures.
• Aids the endoscopy team as needed in any other capacities, according to established procedures.

Requirements

Must have current RN license in West Virginia.

Qualifications

Experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in computer systems.
