About the Role

As our Registered Nurse (RN), you will facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. You will promote optimal patient health, well-being, and safety through the nursing process, adhering to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act while demonstrating personal accountability for relationship-based care and our organizational mission.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records, and clinical data.
• Evaluate patient’s response and intervene to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Develop and implement a patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including, but not limited to, IVs, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.
• Maintain thorough and confidential patient charts and records.
• Document ongoing status, interventions, patient response, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Use information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decision-making.
• Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
• Provide patient/family education through assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability.
• Provide teaching and evaluate the effectiveness of education.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (required).
• RN License in the state of employment (required).
• Physical Requirements: Medium Work — exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• One (1) year of experience (preferred).

Pay

$32.01 - $48.43 per hour.
