RN- Endocrinology- Southpark

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy Endocrinology practice in SouthPark, Charlotte. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, perform nurse triage, educate patients, and collaborate with providers to ensure high-quality care and efficient daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, obtain medical histories, administer medications, and coordinate treatment plans.
• Perform nurse triage, evaluate symptoms, and determine appropriate levels of care.
• Initiate IVs, administer IV fluids, and respond to urgent patient needs.
• Educate patients on diabetes management, insulin administration, and chronic endocrine conditions.
• Manage medication refills, prior authorizations, and electronic health record (EHR) documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and medical assistants to support efficient patient flow.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established care protocols.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience.
• Outpatient clinic experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience using electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient triage skills.

A dependable, patient-focused RN who is comfortable working independently, managing competing clinical priorities, and supporting patients with diabetes and other chronic endocrine conditions.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Thursdays, 8:00 AM-1:00 PM)
