Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care, assesses and evaluates patients' needs and applies critical thinking.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare team in development, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Educates patients and caregivers.
• Communicates effectively and professionally with patients.
• Prioritizes all aspects of patient care.
• Escalates potential safety hazards or gaps.
• Utilizes institutional information technology by documenting nursing practice to support quality and performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Must have Urology experience.
• Must have ambulatory, prostate procedure experience.
• Two (2) years of Urology experience.
• One (1) year of traveler experience.
• BSN education.
• NYS RN License.
• BLS certification.
• English language proficiency (speak, read, write).
• Job Category: DirPatientCare-Clinical-Nursing-Contract.

Skills

• Epic Experience (preferred).
• Urology Nursing (preferred).
