About the role
A RN position is available for a 13-week travel assignment in the Emergency Room (ER) in St Johnsbury, VT. The shift is 3x12 nights, from 19:00 to 07:00, 12.00 to 3.00.
Responsibilities
- Triage patients
- Perform initial assessments and treatments
- Administer medications and treatments
- Document patient care and treatment
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Vermont
- At least one year of acute care experience preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
Skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Knowledge of emergency room protocols
