About the Role

As a Staff Nurse in the Emergency Department at Piedmont Fayette Hospital, you will provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. You will function within the framework of the organization’s policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability while maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients across the lifecycle using nursing processes (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
  • Function within the policies and procedures of Piedmont Fayette Hospital.
  • Demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
  • Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff.
  • Use state-of-the-art technology to strengthen patient care and services.
  • Participate in clinical research to advance medical care and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
  • ACLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
  • Previous experience in emergency services preferred.

Pay

Competitive and equitable compensation for all roles, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus available to experienced candidates.

Schedule

Full-time, night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
