Our Level IV Trauma Emergency Department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, caring for patients across a diverse range of medical needs. As an ED nurse, you'll gain invaluable experience while working alongside a skilled, collaborative, and supportive clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently
- Delegate and coordinate care appropriately
- Support patients and families through critical healthcare moments
- Participate in quality, safety, and infection prevention initiatives
- Continuously develop your clinical expertise
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN licensure
- Current BLS certification upon hire
- Strong IV skills across all age groups
- Computer charting proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- Specialty certification
- At least one year of emergency nursing experience
- ABG experience
- Telemetry experience
- CEN certification
Clinical Experience
Successful candidates will be comfortable managing:
- Cardiac emergencies
- Critical care patients
- Complex medical-surgical cases
- Psychiatric emergencies
- Multiple-trauma patients
- Patients across all age groups
