Responsibilities

• Provide care to a diverse patient population including Transplant, Advanced head and neck, Cardiac, Trauma, Oncology, Pediatric and Geriatric patients
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4 in main ED and 1:3 in trauma
• Participate in unit-based council activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Engage in evidence-based practice, research, and innovations in nursing practice
• Collaborate with an inter-professional team to ensure safe passage and quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
• 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
• Current RN license
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire

• Experience in a high-volume Emergency Department with complex patient cases
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
