RN - Emergency Department, Evening Shift

Role Overview Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population in a Level III trauma center with a fully accredited Stroke Center and an 18-bed Cardiac Observation Unit. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, paramedics, and support staff, to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across all age groups.Maintain standards of practice and coordinate care activities within organizational policies.Manage critically ill patients and provide patient discharge education.Participate in a dynamic team environment, ensuring safe and effective care delivery. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred.Current RN licensure in the state or multistate license.Required certifications include BLS; additional certifications may be required based on specialty, such as ACLS, PALS, or chemotherapy/Biotherapy.Specialized certifications required for certain units, including NICU, Women’s Services, Surgical Services, and others, with completion within specified timeframes.
