RN - Emergency Department

About the role

Responsible for providing direct nursing care in the emergency department, ensuring patient safety and well‑being. The role requires a compassionate, team‑oriented approach and the ability to handle high‑pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity levels.
• Implement and monitor individualized care plans.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a valid multi‑state license.
• Graduate of an approved RN program; BSN preferred.
• Ability to manage a complex workload.
