About the role

We are seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in emergency settings, requiring complex assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Collect comprehensive health data and perform culturally sensitive triage to prioritize care.
  • Analyze assessment data to identify diagnoses or issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, promote health, and ensure patient safety.
  • Educate patients, evaluate progress, and communicate effectively across practice areas.
  • Demonstrate leadership and apply evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs.
  • Maintain safety and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
  • Active nursing license in the appropriate state.
  • Certification in BLS and ALS, or relevant pediatric or trauma courses depending on location.
  • Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and other physical tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements

  • Knowledge of current nursing practices and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work night shifts.
  • Compliance with state-specific licensing and certification standards.
