About the role
We are seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in emergency settings, requiring complex assessments and interventions.
Responsibilities
- Collect comprehensive health data and perform culturally sensitive triage to prioritize care.
- Analyze assessment data to identify diagnoses or issues.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, promote health, and ensure patient safety.
- Educate patients, evaluate progress, and communicate effectively across practice areas.
- Demonstrate leadership and apply evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs.
- Maintain safety and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- Active nursing license in the appropriate state.
- Certification in BLS and ALS, or relevant pediatric or trauma courses depending on location.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and other physical tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements
- Knowledge of current nursing practices and safety protocols.
- Ability to work night shifts.
- Compliance with state-specific licensing and certification standards.
