About the Role

Adventist Health Sonora, a leading healthcare provider since 1900, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. Our organization includes a 72-bed hospital, 30 medical offices, comprehensive cancer care, and a wide range of award-winning services across Tuolumne and Calaveras counties. Located in the charming town of Sonora, our facility offers a close-knit community atmosphere, with easy access to Yosemite National Park and Lake Tahoe.

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs the activities of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.
• Utilizes critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in patient care.
• Collects and analyzes relevant patient data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develops and implements care plans, ensuring a safe and healing environment.
• Evaluates patient progress and identifies outcomes.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care.
• Provides health information and learning opportunities for patients, families, and team members.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates tasks and coordinates duties of the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required.
• Facility-specific: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required.
• Department-specific: AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS, and AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: Required.

Pay

The estimated base pay for this position is $55.83 to $76.57 per hour. Additional compensation may be available through differentials, incentives, and bonuses. A comprehensive benefits program is also available for qualifying positions.

Schedule

Full-time, Evening Shift, 12-hour shifts.
