RN Director Medical Surgical

Job Summary

The RN Director Medical Surgical position at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is responsible for directing and managing the operations and activities of the Med Surg department. They ensure the department meets quality improvement, fiscal, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 3 years of clinical Inpatient nursing experience in an acute care Hospital setting
• Minimum 2 years management experience as a Nursing Manager or Nursing Director in an acute care Hospital setting

Requirements

• Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of employment start date
