Responsibilities

• Assesses and reassesses patients, completing focused reassessments as needed.
• Administers medications and carries out procedures according to hospital policies.
• Maintains the environment of care and implements infection control practices.
• Communicates effectively with other caregiving staff and performs hand-offs using SBAR format.
• Educates patients and caregivers on the plan of care and HAC and infection control practices.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop individualized plans for achieving desired patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN License and BLS certification.
• Basic nursing skills, proficient communication and interpersonal skills, time management, and organizational skills.
• Astute observational and assessment skills, proper body mechanics, and knowledge of hospital computer systems.
