RN Day Shift - $5000 Sign On

About the role

Riverview Behavioral Health in Texarkana, AR is seeking Full-Time Registered Nurses (RN) for immediate openings. The position offers a generous sign-on bonus of $5000.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and behavioral health needs of patients and develop nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about various health conditions.
• Ensure physician's orders are transcribed appropriately and notify physicians of significant changes in patient status.
• Complete admission and discharge processes efficiently and accurately.
• Provide therapeutic rapport with patients, maintain professional boundaries, and communicate effectively.
• Administer medications accurately and document controlled substance medication administration counts.
• Coordinate activities of the unit as directed and perform other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of nursing experience within a clinical area of service preferred.
• Current Arkansas RN license.
• First Aid, CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certifications required (training available).
