If you're ready to join a team where your expertise and compassion truly matter, please consider the following role with us: Full-time Day shift CVOR RN Work three 12-hour day shifts each week2 CVOR SuitesTotal of 26 State-of-art Surgery Suites with Da Vinci XI and 5 robots Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend is a 350-bed regional referral hospital with level II trauma center Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend is a beautiful hospital situated along the McKenzie River in Springfield, Oregon. Located an hour from the Pacific Ocean and 2 hours South of Portland, Oregon, Springfield and its sister city Eugene are adventure-driven destinations. Find yourself hiking to spectacular waterfalls, enjoying the nearby ocean beaches, rafting and kayaking in white water, cycling through wine country or along the many miles of bicycle paths. In addition to year around outdoor activities, we have a wide array of sporting events, and educational and cultural activities at the University of Oregon, Museums of Art and Natural History, and the Hult Center for Performing Arts.
Additional Compensation
A wage range of $50.78 - $79.78, rate of pay is dependent upon RN experience and terms of the ONA bargaining union agreement. Additional compensation for BSN (4%), MSN (5%) and Specialty Nursing Certification ($3.75)

Position Details
Provides professional nursing direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards. Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs. Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards. Directs and delegates care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence. Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development. Participates in the development of and maintains established hospital policies, procedures and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection prevention program. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
- Required: Minimum of 1 year circulating experience in CVOR
- Preferred: level I/II trauma center experience
- Preferred: Ability to independently scrub and circulate major cases in full-service OR
- Required: Oregon Registered Nurse License
- Required: Basic Life Support Certification
- Skills Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient’s needs (Required)
- Demonstrated ability to promote positive interpersonal relationships and patient/family centered work environment (Required)
- Able to support and interpret medical center philosophy, policy and procedures (Required)
- Basic computer skills (Required)
Requirements
