About the role

The RN CV Telemetry position at Tenet Healthcare provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned patients. This role collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achieve desired patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and develops individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Administers medications accurately and monitors patients for adverse reactions.
• Monitors vital signs and performs telemetry monitoring as needed.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure clear understanding of care plans and progress.
• Documents patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner according to established protocols.
• Participates in ongoing education and training to maintain competency in clinical skills and knowledge.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and colleagues.

Requirements

• A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire.
• American Heart Association ACLS and NIHSS certifications are required within the orientation period.
• RN-C or CCRN certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in a telemetry setting is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Skills

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$20, 000 sign-on bonus based on eligibility.
