RN Comm Wellness Pt Educa -Community Outreach

Responsibilities

• Aid the Community Outreach Department in organizing, implementing, and maintaining wellness activities.
• Regularly participate in and promote wellness programs, such as public presentations, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, screenings, and lifestyle modification.
• Refer clients as needed to KHN physicians and services, and track and measure outcomes as required.
• Act as a liaison at events and promote and utilize service lines in developing programs tailored to the community’s needs.
• Continuously enhance knowledge by staying updated with health information from recognized health organizations.
• Work independently and actively participate in and promote wellness programs.

Requirements

• Associate's degree
• Registered Nurse (Current Ohio nursing license)
• Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) /CPR
• One or more years of medical office experience
• Minimum of six months clinical nursing experience
• Computer literate and proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to lift up to 30-50 pounds as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Public speaking, teaching, and/or mentoring experience preferred
• Previous experience in Community Health, Health Promotion, or Social Work preferred
• Excellent organization and communication skills
