Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs
• Identification of outcomes based on needs assessment
• Establishing the plan of care
• Supervising the progress and modifying the plan of care as needed
• Maintaining education and competencies to remain proficient
• Incorporating evidence-based nursing practice
• Establishing realistic and measurable patient expected outcomes
• Collaborating effectively with unit staff, leadership, and other disciplines
• Fulfilling all organizational requirements

Requirements

• Associate's or Vocational degree for Community Hospitals
• Bachelor's degree for Specialty areas (ICU, Mom/Baby, ED, OR/Procedural areas and Mental Health) for External Applicants
• Bachelor's degree for Non-Specialty areas for External Applicants
• Associate's or Vocational degree or Bachelor's degree for Internal Applicants at Metro Hospitals and St. Francis
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Allina in-house
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Allina in-house
• Valid Driver’s License required for MN and WI residents

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree or Bachelor's degree for Internal Applicants at Community Hospitals
• Nurse executive approval for Internal Applicants at Community Hospitals
• Two to five years RN experience in clinical area relevant to position

Pay

$46.42 to $64.22 per hour

Schedule

8-hour Day shifts (8:00-4:30p Monday through Friday)
