RN, Clinical Supervisor | Obstetrics and Nursery Unit
About the role
The Obstetrics and Nursery Unit is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join their team. Applications are due by July 10th, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide consistent leadership support across all shifts, enhancing team engagement and ensuring easy access to your next-level leader.
- Problem-solve, address work needs, and respond to questions and concerns in real time.
- Lead daily operations, collaborate closely with the Clinical Manager, and guide a team of caregivers on the Obstetrics and Nursery Unit.
- Work an hourly position in a 0.75 - 0.9 fte. Positions will be 12-hour night shifts. In addition, 8 hours of administrative time will be allotted each pay period.
- Serve as Charge RN during scheduled shifts and ensure smooth daily operation of the unit.
- Support staff through problem-solving, sustaining change, and responding to ideas and concerns in real time.
- Support staff development, performance management, and adherence to quality standards.
- Provide follow-up on quality and safety events.
- Lead approximately 10-15 RN direct reports and manage performance.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years RN experience in Obstetrics.
- Charge Nurse experience preferred.
- Associate degree in Nursing (minimum).
- Active RN license in Wisconsin.
- BLS certification for healthcare providers.
