Responsibilities
- Supervises department staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance and competence, and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed.
- Works with Clinic Administrator in development of the 10-year plan and annual budget.
- Assumes responsibility for the Clinic Administrator in the administrator absence.
- Ensures compliance with all appropriate regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards for nursing (JCAHO, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Responsible for patient safety and risk management for the clinic; identifies high risk situations and initiates the problem-solving process.
- Reports to the Clinic Administrator and Director of Operations for INTEGRIS Physicians Services.
Qualifications
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- EXPERIENCE: 2 years of experience as an RN
- LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: RN (Registered Nurse) Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY IN ENGLISH (VERBAL/WRITTEN).
