RN Clinical Manager Home Health

Amedisys is seeking a compassionate RN Clinical Manager to lead a team, impact patient care, and grow your career in home health.

Responsibilities

• Recommend employment decisions (hire, fire, promote, change status) to the director of operations.
• Oversee overall quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides.
• Organize clinical operations for the care center.
• Review service requests and determine patient eligibility/suitability for home care.
• Coordinate patient referrals and admissions with intake.
• Manage scheduling, payor verification, and precertification requirements.
• Review staff documentation to resolve missing, incomplete, or untimely issues.
• Assist clinicians in establishing and revising patient goals, priorities, and Plan of Care (POC).
• Provide direct patient care infrequently during emergencies.
• Participate in the on-call process.
• Train staff to ensure quality care, compliance, and fiscal responsibility.
• Investigate and resolve patient, family, or physician concerns.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current RN license specific to the state(s) of assignment.
• One year of clinical RN experience in home health or hospice.
• One year of RN management experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Pay

$80,000–$88,000 annually.
