About the role

Oversee and direct the patient care operations of the home care facility. Coordinate and complete assigned projects to support immediate and long-range objectives, plan and supervise total home health care, implement administrative practices, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, enhance agency profitability, and motivate and retain qualified staff.

Act as a liaison with management staff and other departments throughout the company.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and complete assigned projects to effectively support the immediate and long-range objectives of the company
  • Oversee the eligibility of patients referred to home care services, plan for the services to be provided, and supervise their total home health care
  • Implement and maintain administrative practices, agency philosophy, goals, and policies to assure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations
  • Enhance the profitability of the agency
  • Provide motivation and retention of a qualified staff and assure the quality of services delivered
  • Follow all CMS and state regulations regarding supervision of nursing services
  • If Clinical Director is not an RN, designate an Executive Director/Administrator or Patient Care Manager as supervising RN for nursing services unless state regulations dictate otherwise

Requirements

  • Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice or current applicable PT/OT/SLP license in the state
  • Current Driver’s License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation

State Specific Requirements

  • PA: If Clinical Director is an RN, must have one (1) year full-time nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
  • 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience in home health setting or related healthcare setting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Able to work independently
  • Good communication, writing, and organizational skills

Pay

The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
